Dave Siskind's Moulton Series 1 Dave Siskind showed his Moulton Series 1 small wheel wedgie, which he has also ridden on the Lake Pepin Tour. He bought it used for $10 from a shop that apparently didn't know what they had, but Dave sure did! The frame originally separated for transport, but it flexed and creaked annoyingly so Dave had Mark braze it together solidly. The non-triangulated rear swingarm also developed some cracks so he had Terry Osell add steel bracing plates and lots of brass filleting to strengthen it (so far so good). Dave converted it from a one-speed coaster brake to a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed hub in a new wheel with better alloy rims. Many other parts have been similarly upgraded from steel to alloy, so it is noticeably lighter than before.
